Growth lives on the other side of discomfort. This month, we're reframing challenges — not as signs something's wrong, but as proof you're growing as an artist and a business owner.
In particular, watch out for fear disguised as perfectionism. It's rarely obvious — it shows up quietly, in the small delays that feel responsible at the time. The weekly email that doesn't go out because it's "not quite right." The website that gets three more tweaks before anyone's allowed to see it. The collection that stays in the studio one more month because it's not fully finished. The price that never gets raised because it's "not the right time yet."  That feels like high standards but often it's not.Â
So this month, take the action anyway. Send the email. Launch the collection. Publish the site. Raise the price. Reach out to that interior designer. Keep going — because momentum is what actually moves your art and your business forward.  Once you have got it out there in the world then you can refine it.Â
